Instructor – Logistics & General Subjects

About the role

The Instructor I will deliver Levels I‑III technical training in logistics and general subjects for the UAE Army at the General Maintenance Corps (GMC) training school. The role ensures training complies with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and supports a safe, healthy learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all safety, security, and company policies while advising the Chief Instructor on course development and student performance.
• Deliver classroom and workshop training, design and analyse courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT), and conduct technical evaluations for GMC technicians.
• Maintain instructional materials, equipment, and supplies; manage time effectively and ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in conferences, workshops and training programs to stay current with instructional techniques.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred) and a recognised military or combat‑vehicle training background.
• Minimum four years of experience as an instructor in logistics/general subjects; two years of military experience is an advantage.
• Proven ability to develop performance‑oriented lesson plans and conduct analysis.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and a valid UAE driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) methodology.
