About the role
The Instrumentation Technician will perform preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance on plant instrument process monitoring, control and protective equipment. The role supports both routine operations and plant shutdown activities.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance, repair and testing of instrumentation in line with SOPs.
- Participate in scheduled plant shutdowns, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Inspect equipment, identify developing problems and report issues.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and test process control instruments and relay logic.
- Implement field or system modifications and update related plant drawings.
Required profile
- Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
