Intensive Care Nurse – Home‑Based Critical Care

About the role

The Intensive Care Nurse will provide advanced, on‑site nursing care to critically ill patients receiving home‑based intensive care in Dubai. This full‑time position involves close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high‑quality care in a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and document clinical observations.
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and manage life‑support equipment such as ventilators.
• Implement and adjust care plans in partnership with physicians, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Perform emergency interventions, including rapid triage and crisis management.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures, rehabilitation goals, and infection‑control practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Valid UAE nursing license or eligibility to obtain one; prior ICU or HDU experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications.
• Strong foundation in general nursing, patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.
• Demonstrated experience in critical‑care and emergency nursing, including management of ventilated and post‑operative patients.
• Commitment to ethical, culturally sensitive, gender‑neutral, and non‑discriminatory care.
