Internal Medicine Consultant – Abu Dhabi (Tax‑Free Package)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is expanding its adult medical care services. The organisation seeks an experienced Internal Medicine Consultant to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care to a diverse, international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultant‑level care for adult patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans and coordinate discharges.
• Manage complex comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, cardiac and renal diseases.
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and ensure continuity of care across settings.
• Supervise junior doctors, promote evidence‑based protocols and participate in clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation, ensure medication safety and comply with UAE healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised internal medicine qualification (e.g., ABIM, UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in adult inpatient and outpatient medicine, preferably in a tertiary‑care environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for documentation and medication safety.
