Investment Operations Intern

About the role

The Investment Operations Intern assists in maintaining investment records, supporting settlement processes and ensuring data accuracy across systems. The intern works closely with internal teams such as finance, risk and compliance, as well as external stakeholders including custodians and brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing and recording investment transactions such as trades, subscriptions and redemptions
• Maintain portfolio records and investment databases
• Reconcile investment data, cash positions and transaction records
• Help prepare portfolio reports and performance summaries
• Monitor and track investment activities and operational workflows
• Support settlement processes and follow up on pending transactions
• Keep organized records of contracts, agreements and investment documentation
• Assist with compliance and regulatory checks under supervision
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties, and report data discrepancies or operational issues
• Handle general administrative and operational tasks and uphold confidentiality and documentation standards

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Basic understanding of financial instruments and investment processes
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
• Eagerness to learn about investment operations and back-office functions
