IT Administrator

About the role

Join the IT systems and digital operations teams of Dubai’s premier 5‑star luxury hotels and resorts. You will be responsible for maintaining the technology backbone that enables seamless hospitality services for international guests and hotel management.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain hotel servers, LAN/WAN networks, wireless access points and cybersecurity protocols to ensure uninterrupted uptime.
• Administer and troubleshoot property management systems (e.g., Opera), point‑of‑sale platforms (e.g., Micros/Symphony), keycard access control and IP telephony.
• Provide rapid L1/L2 technical support for staff and guest room technology, resolving hardware, software and peripheral issues.
• Perform routine system backups, enforce data protection standards and manage user access permissions.
• Oversee IT asset inventory, software licensing and coordinate hardware repairs or upgrades with third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Must be 18+ years old and hold a valid South African passport.
• Degree, diploma or professional certifications in IT, network engineering or computer science (CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, Microsoft certifications are advantageous).
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Engineer or Technical Support Specialist, preferably in luxury hospitality environments.
• Flawless spoken English with a professional, patient customer‑service approach.
• Willingness and eligibility to relocate full‑time to Dubai, UAE.
