IT Assistant – Audio Visual

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai is seeking an IT Assistant focused on Audio Visual support. Working within the hotel’s IT department, you will assist the IT Manager in delivering reliable technology services to both staff and guests, ensuring smooth operation of AV equipment and overall IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and second‑line IT support to colleagues and guests, including weekend coverage.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hotel IT hardware and software, responding to system alerts and incidents.
• Deliver dedicated Audio Visual support: set up, test and perform preventive maintenance for meetings, events and conference rooms.
• Assist with AV event preparation, ensuring equipment meets technical specifications.
• Support ongoing project tasks and follow‑up on project deliverables.
• Monitor cybersecurity alerts and help enforce security protocols.
