IT Instructor (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The institution seeks an IT Instructor to deliver high‑quality theoretical and practical instruction in Information Technology and Computer Science at the higher‑education level. The role involves preparing course materials, conducting lectures and labs, assessing student performance, and supporting academic and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations in IT‑related subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, presentations, assignments and practical exercises aligned with the approved curriculum.
• Guide students through hands‑on activities covering programming, databases, networking, operating systems, cybersecurity and relevant software applications.
• Assess and grade assignments, quizzes, exams, lab reports and projects while maintaining accurate records.
• Provide academic guidance, consultation hours and remedial support to help students improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant teaching or training experience in higher education.
• Practical experience with programming languages, software tools, IT infrastructure or technical platforms.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning, student assessment and modern teaching methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
