IT Manager – Manufacturing Systems

About the role

The IT Manager will lead the optimisation of Oracle Manufacturing processes across production, shop‑floor control, BOM, routings, inventory and supply‑chain operations. The role ensures accurate production data, minimizes disruptions and provides reliable visibility of inventory and order status for multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements while limiting customisations and technical debt.
• Administer user access, define authorisation profiles, and maintain user IDs and help‑desk procedures to safeguard system security.
• Drive improvements to internal procedures and software customisations, identifying best practices beyond the Oracle Manufacturing module.
• Manage change‑control processes, application security controls and business continuity planning.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Oracle ERP customisations and enhancements from design through testing and implementation.
• Evaluate upgrades, new software and system improvements for technical and functional suitability.
• Provide hands‑on support to business users to resolve issues and maintain productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years experience with Oracle ERP applications (configuration, implementation and support).

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules and/or JDE Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of databases, network technologies, programming languages, operating systems and internet technologies.
• Understanding of quality management and change management principles.
• Project management certification (advantageous).
