IT Officer

About the role

Rentokil Boecker is seeking an IT Officer to be the first point of contact for technical needs, providing hands‑on support to ensure smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for users via tickets, email or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Support Windows, Chrome OS, Microsoft 365, printers and common business applications.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Create and manage user accounts, email configurations and access permissions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher‑level support or external vendors.
• Maintain accurate records in a ticketing system and monitor IT inventory.
• Support staff onboarding and off‑boarding by preparing IT assets and accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or coordination.
• Good understanding of networking basics, Microsoft 365 and Windows OS.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
• Fluency in English.
