IT Operations Officer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Operations Officer to support our UAE banking operations. The role involves ensuring the availability and performance of critical IT and banking systems across multiple locations, providing after‑hours support, and coordinating incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide after‑hours and on‑call support for end‑users and banking applications, handling production incidents, outages, and urgent service requests.
• Perform routine server health checks, system monitoring, patch management, and support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, MPLS, WAN, VPN, and Cisco IP telephony devices across data‑center and branch sites.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and telecom providers during critical incidents to minimise disruption and ensure business continuity.
• Manage IT asset inventory, user accounts, access requests, and documentation for all supported locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT Operations, banking operations, or infrastructure support.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and vendor coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
