IT Security Engineer – Information Security

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an IT Security Engineer to join its Information Security team. The role will lead technical security initiatives for the new integrated resort currently under construction on Al Marjan Island, supporting a large‑scale hospitality operation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical role in the Information Security team within the IT Division.
• Develop and enforce security strategies, remediation plans, and risk mitigation measures.
• Deploy, integrate and configure new security solutions and enhance existing ones following best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze audit results and recommend acceptable risk treatments.
• Define security configuration and operation standards for security systems, policy assessment tools, network appliances and host‑based solutions.
• Implement and validate baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications, networking and telecommunications equipment.
• Assist in developing security architecture, policies, principles and standards.
• Research, test and recommend new or updated security technologies.
• Monitor security logs and reports for unusual events, providing second‑ and third‑level incident support.
• Participate in security investigations and compliance reviews as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent 4 years of experience.
• High personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Calm and competent under high‑pressure, high‑stress situations.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated with strong time‑management abilities.
