IT Support Engineer

About the role

BlackStone eIT is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide first and second‑level technical assistance to its clients in Dubai. You will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of the company’s technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑level support for end users, handling tickets within defined SLAs.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, business applications and Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts and access rights in Azure Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Monitor and maintain servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and network devices.
• Apply software updates, security patches and operating system upgrades.
• Assist with backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Document incidents, solutions and maintain asset inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, service desk or infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and customer‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies.
