About the role
Provide first‑line support via the MCME ICT service desk or onsite at business units to resolve ICT technical problems.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and classify requests using diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions (Cherwell).
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support promptly to minimise business impact.
- Maintain service records and resolutions in the IT Service Management tool.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an ICT‑equivalent field.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ICT support service environment.
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification is an advantage.
Required skills
- Hardware troubleshooting.
- Software troubleshooting.
- Use of an IT service management tool (Cherwell).
- ITIL‑based incident, change, problem and request management.
