Joinery Draftsman

About the role

The employer is a premier, high‑end interior fit‑out firm and custom joinery manufacturer based in Dubai. They specialise in turnkey commercial, retail and luxury residential projects, relying on precision engineering to produce bespoke woodwork. The role involves turning design concepts into accurate production shop drawings in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive joinery shop drawings, architectural elevations, cross‑sections and millwork construction details using AutoCAD.
• Produce precise cutting lists and material take‑offs for the factory production floor.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and factory foremen to resolve structural or wood joinery detailing discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a UAE‑based interior fit‑out or joinery factory.
• Currently located in Dubai/UAE and able to undertake an immediate trade or layout test.

Required skills

• Superior knowledge of structural woodwork joinery techniques and wood species properties.
• Experience with MDF fabrication and architectural standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of AED 4,000 – AED 5,000, commensurate with skill level and test results.
