Junior Accountant – Transport Finance

About the role
Gateway Gulf Group of companies is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Finance team, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the transport field. The role supports invoicing, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month‑end closing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and posting journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
- Help prepare documents for tax filings.
- Maintain organized records to ensure smooth audits.
- Support month‑end closing by compiling necessary documentation and running reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience.
- Preferable experience in the transport industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Hindi language skills preferred.
