Junior Data Analyst & Data Scientist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to join our remote team. You will support data‑driven decision‑making across multiple industries, turning raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets using Python, SQL, and statistical methods.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies and business opportunities.
• Develop recurring reports, dashboards, KPIs and BI solutions.
• Extract, clean, transform and validate data from diverse sources.
• Support descriptive and statistical analysis for business decisions.
• Build basic predictive and machine‑learning models under senior guidance.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, experiments and hypothesis tests.
• Create visualisations and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or Engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of statistics, probability and data‑analysis concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
