Junior Estimating Engineer – Epoxy Flooring & Coatings

About the role

Join INPROSERV as a Junior Estimating Engineer focusing on epoxy flooring and protective coating systems for marine, energy and industrial projects. You will support quantity take‑offs, cost calculations and tender preparation while working closely with project, procurement and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and pricing schedules for painting, coatings, waterproofing, insulation and fire‑proofing works.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assess project scope, risks, assumptions and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Operations, Procurement and Technical teams to ensure timely bid submissions.
• Support variation pricing, client clarifications, negotiations and project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of estimation and tendering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience in industrial painting, protective coatings, waterproofing, insulation and fire‑proofing estimation.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Strong quantity take‑off and BOQ preparation.
• Cost estimation and pricing schedule development.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP systems (advantage).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
