Junior Internal Communications Specialist – Gulf Levant (Emirati Nationals)

About the role

The Junior Internal Communications Specialist supports the Government Affairs & Communications Director in creating clear, timely, and accurate internal communications for AbbVie employees in the Gulf Levant region. The role focuses on drafting, formatting, and distributing a variety of communication materials while assisting with employee engagement initiatives and internal events.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, proofread, and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, presentations, talking points, intranet content, and campaign materials.
• Support the creation and distribution of communications related to business updates, company priorities, and employee initiatives.
• Develop social media content that complies with corporate branding guidelines and industry regulations.
• Maintain content for internal channels such as email, newsletters, intranet, collaboration tools, employee meetings, and town halls.
• Assist in coordinating internal events, leadership meetings, business updates, and culture initiatives.
• Respond to routine communication requests from internal stakeholders and provide administrative support.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional, preferably an Emirati national, based in Dubai.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft and edit diverse internal messages.
• Ability to work under direction, meet timelines, and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
• Proactive attitude toward supporting stakeholder requests and event coordination.
