Junior Procurement Officer (Odoo, Arabic Required)

About the role

A leading automotive company in Dubai is hiring a Junior Procurement Officer who speaks Arabic, to support its procurement operations. The role suits Arabic-speaking professionals with experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or vendor coordination. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)
• Follow up with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries
• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal departments in Arabic and English
• Maintain accurate supplier records and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with stores for inventory replenishment
• Support supplier evaluation and cost optimization
• Handle ERP / Odoo procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and communicate with Arabic-speaking vendors and local suppliers

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or similar
• 1-2 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience
• Fluent Arabic (reading, writing and speaking) is mandatory; English also required
• UAE experience preferred; automotive, engineering, manufacturing or industrial experience is an advantage

Required skills

• PR/PO processing and vendor management
• Strong negotiation skills in Arabic and English
• Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel
• ERP / Odoo knowledge is an advantage
• Planning, communication and organizational skills
