Supply and Demand Planner

About the role

Masafi, a UAE-based FMCG company producing water, juices, tissue papers and anti-bacterial essentials, is looking for a Supply and Demand Planner. You will manage demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory optimization in a fast-paced FMCG environment, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain forecasts by SKU, customer, channel and market, incorporating new product launches and promotions
• Analyze sales history, seasonality, promotions, market trends and customer demand patterns
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias and variances, and translate forecasts into supply, production, procurement and replenishment plans
• Drive collaboration across teams and support the monthly S&OP process, highlighting demand and supply gaps
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, ageing, slow-moving and near-expiry products, and minimize stock-outs, excess inventory and write-offs
• Identify supply constraints and capacity risks, recommend corrective actions, and conduct root-cause analysis of major forecast and supply deviations
• Prepare planning reports and dashboards on supply chain KPIs and track market and category trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in Supply & Demand Planning, preferably in FMCG
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market trends and seasonality

Required skills

• Forecasting, inventory management, replenishment and S&OP
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/planning systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
