Key Accounts Manager – Used Trucks & Equipment

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive’s FAMCO Used Business is seeking a commercially‑driven Key Accounts Manager to expand sales of used trucks, construction equipment, material handling equipment and buses across the UAE and international markets. The role combines new‑business hunting with relationship management, guiding customers from prospecting through to deal closure, delivery and payment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B customers in the UAE, regional and export markets.
• Sell a multi‑brand portfolio of used trucks, construction and material‑handling equipment, and buses through direct and export channels.
• Maintain relationships with fleet operators, contractors, transport companies, traders, rental firms and equipment dealers.
• Conduct regular customer visits, market mapping, prospecting and international business‑development activities.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable units based on application, condition, specifications, age and budget.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, gross‑margin, revenue and stock‑turnover targets.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations from initial contact to final payment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to generate new B2B business and build long‑term client relationships.
• Strong understanding of used trucks, construction and material‑handling equipment.
• Excellent negotiation skills and confidence managing end‑to‑end sales cycles.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and market development.
