Key Relationship Manager – Funds

About the role

IFX Payments is expanding its dedicated funds desk in Dubai and is looking for a Key Relationship Manager, Funds to win and grow relationships with fund managers, administrators and service providers across DIFC and ADGM. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding and account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Map the DIFC and ADGM funds landscape, identify target accounts and track new fund launches, licence approvals and regulatory changes.
• Build a pipeline through introductions, referrals, industry events and the partner network, representing IFX at networking sessions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
• Lead the end‑to‑end sales process – discovery, solution design, proposal, commercial negotiation and closing.
• Guide clients through KYC and onboarding, acting as the main point of contact to ensure swift go‑live.
• Grow each relationship by adding entities, currencies and payment flows, and run regular account reviews to identify cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop referral partnerships with fund administrators, corporate service providers and advisers.
• Record all activity in Salesforce and report progress against targets to the Sales Director.
• Collaborate with marketing on funds‑specific campaigns and provide market intelligence to shape the proposition.
• Ensure all sales activity complies with DFSA, FSRA and IFX policies.

Required profile

• Solid experience in the UAE funds ecosystem – fund administration, corporate services, private banking or transaction banking.
• Working knowledge of how funds and SPVs are established, administered and banked in DIFC and ADGM, and of DFSA/FSRA frameworks.
• Established network across fund managers, administrators and service providers in the UAE.
• Commercial drive with a proven track record of winning new business.
• Ability to lead senior conversations and explain FX and cross‑border payments clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and comfort working in a CRM.
• Fluent English.
