Kitchen Helper

About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. You will support daily food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure food safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and preparation areas; wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
• Store ingredients and supplies properly, check freshness, and report any damaged or expired items.
• Support receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries, refill supplies, and report shortages.
• Participate in opening, closing, and deep‑cleaning activities and coordinate with service staff during busy periods.

Required profile

• Basic education or high school qualification; food safety or kitchen hygiene training is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Dishwasher, or similar role is preferred, but freshers willing to learn are welcome.
• Ability to work as part of a team, follow safety procedures, and maintain personal hygiene.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
