About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support banquet production by preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards, ensuring quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare special meals, cold foods, and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and roasters, and manage food thawing and storage.
  • Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish dishes, and ensure overall food quality.
  • Communicate with chefs and service staff about menu specials, excess items, and out‑of‑stock items.
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members, serving as a role model.
  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
  • At least 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
