About the role
The Kitchen Steward supports the Food & Beverage operations at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal by ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, hygienic and fully stocked with spotless dishware and linens.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Clean kitchen equipment, surfaces, and dining ware to hotel standards.
- Transport dishware, utensils and linens between kitchen, service areas and laundry.
- Follow health, safety and quality procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Lift, move and carry items up to 50 lb and stand or walk for extended periods.
Required profile
- No high‑school diploma or prior experience required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching overhead and lifting up to 50 lb.
- Commitment to a safe workplace, professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
Required skills
- Dishwashing machine operation.
- Hand‑wash station operation.
- Linen washer and dryer operation.
- General cleaning equipment use.
