Laboratory Technician – Al Maharat Campus

About the role

The UAE National Laboratory Technician will support the Al Maharat campus by preparing equipment, conducting laboratory procedures, and ensuring a safe and well‑documented environment for students and faculty. This full‑time position plays a vital role in delivering practical science education.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
• Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain and coordinate servicing of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage waste disposal safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection‑control regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities.
• Assist faculty, instructors, and students during lab sessions.
• Conduct quality‑control checks and report equipment malfunctions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
