Ladies Tailor

About the role

ÚCHÈ, a ready-to-wear fashion brand founded by Nigerian designer Uche Joy Orah and based in Dubai, is hiring a full-time, on-site Ladies Tailor. The tailor creates, alters and finishes garments in line with the brand's design standards and aesthetics, working closely with designers and stylists.

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate measurements and conduct fittings
• Adjust patterns and ensure high-quality stitching and finishing
• Advise clients on fit and style options
• Maintain an organised, safe workspace
• Support quality control and manage timelines for custom and RTW pieces
• Contribute ideas to improve garment construction and customer experience

Required profile

• Experience in fashion or apparel production, preferably in luxury or high-end RTW environments
• Ability to work full time on site in Dubai and manage multiple orders while meeting deadlines
• Basic understanding of sustainable fashion practices and willingness to align with brand values
• Vocational training or certification in tailoring, fashion design or garment technology is an advantage
