Laundry Attendant – Dubai

About the role

Join Sofitel Dubai Downtown as a Laundry Attendant, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of laundry and dry‑cleaning operations for guests and staff. You will work in a dynamic hotel environment, ensuring textiles are cared for according to hotel procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Attend all laundry and dry‑cleaning operations following hotel standards and procedures.
• Follow linen and uniform laundry flows, respecting established cycles and instructions.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment with proper knowledge, care and maintenance.
• Handle and store chemicals safely, using correct formulas and complying with health and safety regulations.
• Report any equipment damage, malfunction, or linen issues to superiors immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the working area and storage rooms.
• Manage lost and found items and participate in monthly inventories.
• Complete daily checklists, logbooks and reports, and address guest comments or complaints.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a laundry or similar role.
• Good spoken English.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
