Laundry Attendant – Luxury Hotel (Dubai)

About the role

The Laundry Attendant will join the housekeeping team at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury hotel. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality garment care, ensuring every guest’s linen and personal items are cleaned, pressed and repaired to the brand’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the hotel laundry system: sort, wash, dry, fold and store linen and guest garments.
• Provide pressing, sewing and other fabric‑care services on‑call for guests.
• Handle soiled and damaged items safely, using appropriate bags and disposal procedures.
• Maintain the linen room and uniform store, monitoring stock levels and organizing inventory.
• Use laundry chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and report any hazards.
• Greet guests courteously when assisting with laundry requests and ensure one‑call delivery expectations are met.

Required profile

• Minimum one month of experience in a luxury‑hotel laundry environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service.
