Lead Agentic AI Engineer – Enterprise Data Platform

About the role

As the Lead Agentic AI Engineer for the Enterprise Data Platform, you will define and build MultiBank Group’s agentic AI capability, overseeing the full lifecycle of AI agents across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy single‑ and multi‑agent systems that automate workflows for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and other domains.
• Build integrations to enterprise systems (EDW/Redshift, CRM, payments, support platforms) using APIs and Model Context Protocol servers.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, guardrails, human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints and monitoring for production agents.
• Operate LLM workloads on AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, SageMaker) and integrate foundation models while managing cost and data‑residency.
• Implement CI/CD, versioning, automated testing and reusable SDKs for agent development.
• Collaborate with data engineers to expose governed data and semantic layers to agents.
• Ensure AI governance, security, compliance and auditability of agent actions.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of AI engineers and define technical roadmaps.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software/ML/AI engineering experience, with at least 2 years delivering production LLM/agentic systems.
• Proven leadership or mentorship experience in engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming and API development (FastAPI or similar).
• AWS services: Bedrock (Agents/AgentCore), Lambda, ECS/EKS, SageMaker, IAM, API Gateway.
• LLM/agent frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Claude/OpenAI SDKs, Model Context Protocol.
• Prompt engineering, RAG, tool/function calling, multi‑agent orchestration.
• Data platforms: Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, vector stores, SQL.
• CI/CD, version control, automated testing, observability tooling.
