Lead AI Architect – Agentic AI & GenAI Solutions

About the role

Join a leading aviation and technology organization in Abu Dhabi, driving AI innovation across business operations, commercial functions, customer experiences, and enterprise transformation. This hands‑on technical leadership role combines AI architecture, software engineering, product ownership, and business value delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end AI product development from discovery to production deployment and measurable impact.
• Design, develop and deploy Agentic AI, GenAI, LLM‑powered applications, RAG solutions and intelligent automation.
• Stay hands‑on with Python development, AI architecture, LLM orchestration, tool calling and MCP integrations.
• Lead and mentor a squad of AI engineers, providing technical direction, architecture guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Define AI performance metrics, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, security standards and cost‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Typically 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML or related fields with hands‑on GenAI/LLM development.
• Proven experience building and deploying production‑grade Agentic AI solutions or multi‑agent systems.
• Experience leading AI engineering teams while remaining actively involved in development.
• Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership and business communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
