Solution Architect with Business Analysis Expertise

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect who can translate business requirements into robust, end‑to‑end solution designs and champion those designs across development, infrastructure and integration teams. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on business analysis to ensure solutions meet functional, security and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete solution architecture across application, data, integration, security and infrastructure layers.
• Produce detailed architecture documents, data flow, sequence diagrams and API specifications.
• Conduct design reviews, challenge feasibility, scalability, performance, security and supportability.
• Validate sizing, environment and hosting assumptions with infrastructure teams.
• Identify technical debt, bottlenecks and single points of failure, proposing remediation.
• Elicit and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements, maintain traceability to design and test cases.
• Facilitate workshops with business owners and serve as the single technical point of contact for vendors.

Required profile

• 8+ years in enterprise IT, with at least 4 years as a Solution or Technical Architect.
• Hands‑on experience delivering API‑led and system integration projects in enterprise or government settings.
• Practical background in business analysis, requirements engineering and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in Arabic (native) and English.

Required skills

• API design: REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON/XML, webhooks, event‑driven patterns.
• Integration & security: API gateways, OAuth2, SSO, UAE PASS.
• Cloud & infrastructure fundamentals: networking, high availability, disaster recovery, security architecture.
• Databases: relational databases, SQL, data mapping.
• Modeling tools: UML, BPMN 2.0, Visio, Lucidchart, Enterprise Architect.
• Methodologies: Agile delivery, Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Certifications: TOGAF Foundation (mandatory), AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) OR Azure AZ‑305 (mandatory); CBAP or PMI‑PBA preferred.
