Lead AI Engineer

About the role

DataRobot is seeking a Lead AI Engineer for its Professional Services team in Dubai. You will act as a strategic technical leader and executive advisor, guiding complex AI programs for top‑tier customers and ensuring measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical advisor to C‑level executives, shaping AI strategy, architecture and governance.
• Own the technical success of professional services engagements, setting standards for Agentic AI, Generative AI and RAG deployments.
• Define architectural blueprints and MLOps best practices for scalable, secure AI solutions.
• Represent DataRobot as a thought leader at conferences and in technical publications.
• Drive program execution, manage technical risk and contribute to regional revenue targets.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of hands‑on software development and AI engineering experience.
• Proven consulting or client‑facing leadership experience with executive communication skills.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Engineering or related field.
• Expert‑level experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and on‑premise deployments.

Required skills

• Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Llama Index.
• RAG and large‑scale generative AI application architecture.
• MLOps strategy, CI/CD for models, governance.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and production‑grade REST APIs.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
