Lead Architect (Site Supervision)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Architect to oversee architectural design coordination and site supervision for large‑scale building projects. You will ensure the design intent is preserved throughout construction, manage multidisciplinary teams, and guarantee compliance with UAE regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design review and technical coordination across the project lifecycle.
• Supervise on‑site architectural works, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and mock‑ups.
• Conduct regular site inspections, produce observation reports, and monitor construction progress against schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Lead QA/QC activities, manage snagging, de‑snagging, and handover processes.
• Mentor junior architects and site supervision staff.
• Participate in design changes, value engineering, and technical problem solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture; professional registration preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of architectural experience, including construction supervision on projects > USD 100M.
• Experience with large‑scale mixed‑use, commercial, hospitality, residential, aviation, healthcare or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, authority regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage contractor performance.
