Lead Business Improvement Associate

About the role

dnata Cargo is hiring a Lead Business Improvement Associate in Dubai. The role delivers cargo business solutions according to business processes and requirements, assesses the effectiveness of changed processes and tool usage, and continuously improves them in line with business needs and industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Keep business systems and automated interfaces available and aligned with operational requirements and service delivery.
• Monitor system and tool usage, identify non-compliance, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support the evaluation and sourcing of new tools and solutions, including Proof of Concepts.
• Plan and coordinate the rollout of system and process changes across operational facilities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product certification, configuration and readiness for production.
• Lead business and system process improvements to improve efficiency, service quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Assess customer recommendations and run feasibility studies to identify beneficial improvements.
• Manage scheduled system and process changes, audits and corrective actions in line with SLAs and SOPs.
• Analyse system issues, customer complaints and recurring problems and work with Operations to implement corrective and preventive solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operational Management.
• At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in cargo handling systems or environments.
• Edge: comprehensive knowledge of supply chain, the air cargo industry and warehouses.
• Good written and spoken English; presentation and facilitation skills.

Required skills

• Ability to turn business and operational processes into system requirements.
• Analytical ability to test interface-level information between systems (agents and airlines).
• Data collection and analysis.
