Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will design, implement, test and maintain electrical systems while ensuring compliance with standards, safety requirements and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, equipment and installations.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, calculations and technical specifications.
• Review designs for compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Perform load calculations, system analysis and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Inspect works to ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and project progress updates.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, procurement and material selection.
• Provide technical support during installation, operation and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, teamwork and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (or other electrical design software).
