Lead Product Service Engineer – Turbine Controls & Operability

About the role

The Lead Product Service Engineer – Turbine Controls & Operability provides direct technical support to global GE Vernova Gas Power customers, focusing on complex control system issues for gas and steam turbines. The role requires rapid problem resolution, trend analysis, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical resolution of multiple complex controls system issues for gas and steam turbines with a sense of urgency.
• Identify trending issues, develop counter‑measures, and communicate alerts (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo, etc.).
• Collaborate with design engineering, product management, regional customer engineering centers, manufacturing, sourcing, vendors, and customers to deliver timely solutions.
• Drive root‑cause analyses (RCAs) and corrective actions, communicating outcomes internally and to end customers.
• Promote GE Vernova Way traits, lean principles, and simplification in daily activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in controls, operations, engineering, or installation of gas/steam turbines.
• Proven experience in a customer‑facing or engineering role.
• Strong oral and written communication in English; ability to travel 10‑15% regionally and internationally.
