Lead Project Control (Onshore Site)

About the role

KBR is looking for a Lead Project Control professional with experience in MEGA EPC projects to join its PMC project team in Abu Dhabi. The role supervises and supports project management from concept through commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in line with ADNOC standards and international best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Project planning and scheduling: develop and maintain schedules in Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools, monitor progress against baselines, analyse variances and support recovery and mitigation plans
• Cost control and budget management: track budgets, commitments and expenditures, prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts and earned value analyses, and assist with change orders and variation claims
• Project monitoring and reporting: prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, generate KPIs and dashboards, and report risks, delays and issues
• Risk management: identify and assess risks, maintain risk registers and support mitigation planning
• Resource management: analyse manpower, equipment and material needs and coordinate resource allocation with project teams
• Stakeholder coordination: work with Project Managers, engineers, contractors and clients, and take part in project review meetings
• Documentation and compliance: maintain project control records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and contracts, supporting audits and reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 17 years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling or cost control
• Experience in construction, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, engineering or industrial projects preferred
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP or CCP are advantageous
