Lead QC Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead QC Engineer to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions team in Abu Dhabi. The role will lead quality control activities on a PMC project involving NGL and gas processing plants, supporting the delivery of large‑scale oil & gas FEED/EPC contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all quality control (QC) functions for the project.
• Develop, implement and monitor QC procedures and standards.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes and client requirements.
• Manage QC documentation, inspection reports and non‑conformance tracking.
• Collaborate with EPC and detail engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QC staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in oil & gas engineering.
• Proven experience on mega FEED/EPC projects valued over US$1 billion.
• Hands‑on experience with NGL and gas processing plant projects.
• Background in EPC and detailed engineering environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
