Lead Quality Engineer

About the role

The Lead Quality Engineer will manage QA/QC processes, teams and resources for ADNOC Growth Projects, ensuring full compliance with contractual, ADNOC, and international quality standards. Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, the role drives the development and enforcement of the project-specific Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, approve and enforce the Project Quality Management System, manuals and procedures to meet contractual and ADNOC requirements.
• Maintain and update quality objectives, KPIs, risk registers, audit plans and lesson‑learned registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct quality audits, review audit findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, licensors, vendors and third‑party inspectors to verify compliance with ISO 9000 series and project specifications.
• Ensure adequate resourcing of QA/QC personnel and inclusion of appropriate QA/QC clauses in subcontractor contracts.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in QA/QC management within large‑scale oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC policies, ISO 9000 series, and international quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex risk and audit registers.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with project managers, contractors and senior stakeholders.
