Leader, Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Leader of Solutions Engineering will head a regional team of Splunk Solutions Engineers serving customers across the Gulf, North Africa and Levant (NALE) regions. You will set technical direction, align resources with business priorities and partner with Sales, Product and Customer Success to drive customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Splunk Solutions Engineers, fostering technical expertise and consistent customer experiences.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, defining technical strategy at regional and account levels and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership, Product and partners to support strategic opportunities, evaluate and adopt Splunk Security and Observability solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the Splunk Security and Observability portfolio, guiding solution design, architecture workshops, demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Establish consistent technical sales practices, allocate resources, supervise performance against goals and act as senior escalation point for complex engagements.

Required profile

• 5+ years leading technical sales or solution engineering teams focused on cybersecurity or observability.
• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Splunk Security (Enterprise Security, SOAR, UEBA) and Observability (Splunk Observability Cloud, ITSI, AppDynamics).
• Experience working with customers or leading teams in the Gulf and/or NALE regions.
• Strong communication, mentorship and stakeholder leadership skills.
