Legal Advisor – Digital Assets & Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Client Legal Advisor with specialised knowledge in digital and virtual assets to support our growing portfolio of financial services clients in the UAE. The role involves delivering strategic legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business development in the fast‑evolving virtual‑asset space.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on digital‑asset transactions, virtual‑asset licensing and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, providing proactive legal support.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the virtual‑asset and fintech sectors.
• Manage existing client accounts, tailoring legal solutions to their specific business needs.
• Design and implement practice strategies that align with UAE and international regulatory standards.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documentation related to digital assets and financial services.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates to provide timely guidance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of legal and business strategies.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience advising on digital assets, fintech or financial services.
• Strong understanding of VARA, ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, SCA, CBUAE regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
