Senior Corporate Counsel

About the role

This high‑impact, hands‑on legal leadership position supports senior executives, investment teams and operating businesses across a diversified investment‑led group in Fujairah. You will act as the trusted legal adviser on commercial, corporate and strategic matters.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic issues.
• Lead drafting, negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings and other strategic transactions.
• Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
• Manage external law firms and legal advisers to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective support.
• Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency and risk management.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Approximately 8‑12 years post‑qualification experience in leading private practice and/or in‑house environments.
• Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Exposure to M&A, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and legal due diligence.
• Experience working with senior executives in a dynamic business environment; UAE/GCC experience highly desirable.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical, solution‑oriented advice.
