Legal Counsel

About the role

AlphaMind, a global lifestyle and hospitality group operating restaurants, lounge bars, beach clubs and nightlife venues across the UAE, Europe and beyond, is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel. The role provides strategic legal support across business operations, working closely with management and internal stakeholders to give practical legal guidance and safeguard the Group's interests. It suits someone with a background in corporate legal affairs, commercial contracts and experience in the F&B or retail industry.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts such as supplier agreements, service agreements, leases, NDAs and other business contracts.
• Advise management and business teams on commercial transactions, corporate matters and operational requirements.
• Review contractual terms, identify legal and commercial risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.
• Support lease negotiations, commercial partnerships, vendor arrangements and other hospitality and F&B agreements.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, landlords and other stakeholders as needed.
• Help develop legal policies, procedures, contract templates and internal controls.
• Provide timely legal support to business units and assist management with legal matters.

Required profile

• Native Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years of in-house legal counsel experience in a corporate environment.
• Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality or retail is essential.
• Law degree required; relevant professional qualifications or UAE legal experience are an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Good understanding of UAE commercial law, corporate regulations and contractual obligations.
• Analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
