Legal Secretary – Litigation & Dispute Resolution

About the role

The Legal Secretary will support a team of Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Employment lawyers across Dubai and the wider Middle East region. This full‑time permanent role offers a hybrid work model with one day per week remote.

Key responsibilities

• Audio typing via digital dictation, copy‑typing, formatting and editing legal documents in line with the firm’s house style.
• Preparing trial bundles, assisting with ad‑hoc legal projects and opening new client matters.
• Managing complex diaries, multi‑zone scheduling of meetings, seminars and client events.
• Coordinating internal and external meetings, lunches, conference calls and handling inbox and telephone queries.
• Drafting internal communications, taking detailed meeting notes and following up on action items.
• Creating PowerPoint presentations, pitches and client‑facing materials; maintaining CRM records (InterAction preferred).
• Arranging end‑to‑end international travel, visas, permits and related documentation, and managing last‑minute changes.

Required profile

• Agile, highly organised and responsive professional with a passion for supporting fee earners.
• Proactive in managing competing priorities and building strong relationships at all levels.
• Consistently delivers high‑quality work while exercising sound judgement and maintaining confidentiality.
• Willing to complete numeracy, comprehension and prioritisation assessments as part of the recruitment process.

Required skills

• Digital dictation and audio typing.
• PowerPoint for creating presentations and client materials.
• CRM experience, preferably with InterAction.
