Licensed Electrical Engineer - Building Construction & Villas

About the role

A qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer is sought for building construction and villa projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The role covers electrical installation works, from reviewing drawings to overseeing wiring, lighting and power distribution on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works for buildings, villas and other construction projects.
• Review electrical drawings, layouts, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Oversee electrical wiring, lighting, power distribution, DB panels and other electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project teams and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE electrical regulations, project specifications and health and safety standards.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of electrical works.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant UAE experience in building construction and villa projects (mandatory).
• Abu Dhabi: must meet the applicable TAQA Distribution registration, approval or competency requirements.
• Dubai: must meet the applicable Dubai Municipality engineering registration and DEWA-related requirements.
• Candidates without the required UAE experience and authority registration/approval will not be considered.

Required skills

• Reading electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong technical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
