Light Duty Driver

About the role

The Light Duty Driver is responsible for safely transporting processed items and linens to various customers across the UAE, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining vehicle hygiene. This role requires adherence to traffic regulations and effective communication with both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and comply with UAE traffic rules and report any health and safety hazards.
• Assist in conducting drive tests on new vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly to prevent accidents caused by shifting loads.
• Find alternate routes to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate daily trip sheets and provide data to the Operations Assistant.
• Pick up and return processed items/linens according to schedule and ad‑hoc requests.
• Keep the vehicle clean to maintain a well‑maintained fleet and prevent contamination.
• Interact politely and professionally with both external and internal customers.

Required profile

• High School Certificate.
• UAE Light Duty vehicle driving licence (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience on UAE roads.
• Good communication skills.
