Lobby Host / Hostess at Luxury Resort

About the role

The Lobby Host/Hostess welcomes guests to Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, ensuring a warm and memorable first impression. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with guests, handling enquiries, and supporting resort operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and bid farewell to guests in accordance with resort procedures.
• Assist guests with activity enquiries, transportation coordination, and special requests.
• Maintain service standards in the reception area and ensure guest feedback is acted upon.
• Handle guest complaints and compliments, communicating promptly with management.
• Participate in upselling spa, food & beverage, and excursion services.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to handle difficult situations following resort policies.
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to enforce safety and house rules.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and respond to guest needs promptly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using resort reservation and communication systems.
• Basic knowledge of transportation coordination (boat, buggy, seaplane, airport transfers).
