Logistic System Administrator

About the role

DBB is seeking a Logistic System Administrator in Abu Dhabi to support logistics operations across road, marine and infrastructure projects. The role administers logistics systems, keeps operational data accurate, coordinates with internal teams and external service providers, and helps ensure transportation and infrastructure activities are planned and tracked efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain logistics, transportation and infrastructure management systems
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot user issues and coordinate resolutions with IT or software vendors
• Manage user access, permissions, master data, system updates and documentation
• Track road and marine transport activities, including shipment schedules, fleet or vessel movements and delivery status
• Support logistics planning for infrastructure projects by coordinating schedules, resources and operational requirements
• Maintain accurate records for shipments, routes, assets, permits, service providers and project activities
• Prepare reports and dashboards on logistics performance, costs, delays and system usage
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, project teams, contractors and transport providers
• Support system integrations and data exchanges with business applications
• Identify improvements to workflows, data quality and system efficiency, and train users on system procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
• Experience administering logistics, fleet, transport, supply chain or project management systems
• Familiarity with road transportation, marine logistics and infrastructure project operations
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Data management, reporting and spreadsheet applications
• ERP, TMS, WMS or fleet management systems (an advantage)
• Basic understanding of system access controls, troubleshooting, integrations and data quality
